  • Full 10-year British passport
  • Certified copy of original birth certificates (long version)
  • All documents need to be certified prior to travel, and sent to resort no later than 60 days before travel (check with resort)

If Bride or Groom has been divorced Original decree absolute
If Bride or Groom is widowed Original death certificate & previous marriage certificate
If Bride or Groom was adopted Original adoption certificate
If Bride or Groom changed name Original deed poll notice issued by UK Deed Poll Office

  • Minimum age to marry: 18
  • Minimum no. of days in resort prior to wedding: 2 days
  • Minimum overall stay required: 7 days
  • Documents must be sent to Beach Weddings within 12 weeks of travel
  • of witnesses required: 2 – must be over the age of 18 (we can arrange witnesses if only bride & groom travelling)
  • Couples need to take all original documentation with them to resort
  • Wedding certificate will be returned within 2 months

Climate

Jamaica offers great year-round warm weather and rainfall only really happens in short showers, which means that this is the ideal location for a beach wedding in the Caribbean. Jamaica’s high humidity can sometimes make uncomfortable, but most days there is a sea breeze providing a cooler setting. Hurricane season is from June to November.
